Distribution . Cosmopolitan (Vinogradov et al. 1996). In the eastern Pacific from off the Columbia River, off western Baja California, and in the Gulf of California, Mexico (Siegel-Causey 1982, García Madrigal 2007). Remarks . Siegel-Causey (1982) reported this species as a common inhabitant in the northern, central and southern Gulf of California. From 0 to 200 m depth (Vinogradov et al . 1996, García Madrigal 2007). Gasca et al .
