Rattus rattus rufescens ), India, Manipur State, Imphal. Hosts. RODENTIA: Berylmys bowersi, Cannomys badius, Maxomys surifer, Rattus andamanensis, R. losea, R. tanezumi . Distribution. China, India, Thailand. Remarks. Rattus rattus rufescens was given as the type host because of an erroneous field identification. Later this name was replaced with Rattus tanezumi (syn.
