Description
Summary:Phycitodes saxicola (Vaughan, 1870) ** MATERIAL EXAMINED. 1 ♀, Kellomyaki, 15.viii.1957 (Kozhanchikov); 1 Ƌ, 1 ♀, Luga, 10.vii.1971 (Falkovitsh); 1 ♀, Krupeli, 19.vii.1971 (Falkovitsh); 3 Ƌ, 4 ♀, W env. of Luga, 25–30.vii.2012, 21–23.vii.2015; 1 Ƌ, 1 ♀, Nov. Devyatkino, 28.vii.2015. REMARKS. This species is very local and not often. It inhabits different meadows preferring dry meadows. In the Karelian Isthmus I found it near Nov. Devyatkino and it is the northernmost record in European part of Russia. P. saxicola is known by a record in the south of Pskov Province (Valersky et al . 2001). DISTRIBUTION. The Palaearctic (temperate zone and southern areas) (Roesler 1965, 1973; Sinev 1986; Karsholt & Razowski 1996; Leraut 2014; Sinev et al. 2019). : Published as part of Tsvetkov, Eugene, 2020, Narrow-winged pyralids (Lepidoptera, Pyraloidea, Pyralidae, Phycitinae) of Leningrad Province and the city of St. Petersburg, Russia, pp. 361-374 in Zootaxa 4890 (3) on page 371, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4890.3.4, http://zenodo.org/record/4306250 : {"references": ["Vaughan, H.
