Agathidium mollinum is newly recorded in New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and in Atlantic Canada (Fig. 7). It was recorded from birch, fir, maple, and conifer litter and from a fern rhizome. Host records include the slime molds Cribraria purpurea Schrad., Diderma floriforme (Bull.) Pers., and Stemonitis axifera (Bull.) T. Macabr.
