Gnypeta crebrepunctata species group The crebrepunctata species group may be characterized by the following combination of characters: spermatheca C-shaped, capsule and stem short, broad, and tubular or club-shaped (Figs 122, 127-129, 136); median lobe of aedeagus with enlarged bulbus (Figs 117, 118, 130-132); male tergite 8 truncate (Figs 120, 134). Species included : G. crebrepunctata (Casey), G. manitobae Casey, G. uteana Casey and G. carbonaria Mannerheim.
