Description
Summary:Ground-based aurora data at Chinese Zhongshan Station for manuscript "Multiple transpolar auroral arcs reveal insight about coupling processes in the Earth's magnetotail" These data are the time sequence of 557.7 nm aurora images for the time interval of 16:12-16:16 UT, which have been mapped into the magnetic latitude and magnetic local time coordinates and focused around the field-of-view region. The raw data of 557.7 nm aurora is from the Chinese National Arctic and Antarctic Data Center (https://www.chinare.org.cn/). The 33rd Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition acquired these data with an all-sky imager at the Chinese Zhongshan Station(ZHS) in Antarctica, which is the National Observation and Research Station in Ice and Space Environment.
