The ACE-DATA project, now in its second year, is working towards two principal goals: firstly, to use novel data science techniques to obtain data-driven understanding of interactions between the sea and atmosphere, and secondly, to make the data from ACE openly accessible to everyone. This article describes the work completed so far as part of ACE-DATA. : We would like to acknowledge the effors of all ACE-DATA project partners. The ACE-DATA project is funded by the Swiss Data Science Center. The Antarctic Circumnavigation Expedition was made possible by funding from the Swiss Polar Institute and Ferring Pharmaceuticals.
