Summary:Article about the ACE-DATA project, a collaboration between the Swiss Polar Institute, Paul Scherrer Institute and the Swiss Data Science Center. The ACE-DATA project, now in its second year, is working towards two principal goals: firstly, to use novel data science techniques to obtain data-driven understanding of interactions between the sea and atmosphere, and secondly, to make the data from ACE openly accessible to everyone. This article describes the work completed so far as part of ACE-DATA. : We would like to acknowledge the effors of all ACE-DATA project partners.
