Description
Summary:Fig. 2. Bayesian inference tree of phylogenetic relationships of Mosgovoyia spp. and other anoplocephalid (s. s.) cestodes of mammals based on sequences of the mitochondrial nad1 gene. The new sequence from Lepus timidus from Faroes in bold. Posterior probabilities of the Bayesian analysis (first value) and bootstrap support of the Maximum likelihood (ML) analysis (second value) are indicated at nodes. The inclusion of Neoctenotaenia ctenoides in the "lagomorph clade" is not supported by either of the phylogenetic methods. Hymenolepis diminuta and Arostrilepis sp. (Hymenolepididae) were used as outgroups (not shown). ... : Published as part of Magnussen, Eyðfinn, Stensvold, Christen Rune, Berg, Rebecca, Jokelainen, Pikka & Haukisalmi, Voitto, 2023, Identification of the tapeworm Mosgovoyia pectinata (Anoplocephalidae) in Faroese mountain hares (Lepus timidus), pp. 17-21 in International Journal for Parasitology: Parasites and Wildlife 21 on page 20, DOI: 10.1016/j.ijppaw.2023.03.006, http://zenodo.org/record/13287306 ...
