Summary:This dataset is created for a study of morphosyntactic variation in Northern Khanty. The research is conducted in terms of the project ”Verb agreement and voice in Northern Khanty discourse” supported by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. The results of my study are to appear in an article "The emergence of hierarchical alignment in Northern Khanty: a comparative dialectal corpus study" submitted to the journal "Linguistica Uralica". The dataset contains mannualy annotated transitive clauses from four Northern Khanty dialects: Kazym, Obdorsk, Shuryshkary, and Tegi. Transitive clauses here are active and passive clauses containing at least two overtly and/or pronominally expressed core arguments Parameters: voice, conjugation, person, animacy, uniqueness/maximality, familiarity The sources are: (1) an unpublished corpus of Northern Khanty (Kazym, Tegi, Shuryshkary) compiled by Egor Kashkin, (2) an online corpus of Obdorsk Khanty from the database "Endangered Languages and Cultures of Siberia".
