Summary:Acalypta carinata (Panzer, 1806) Material. Altai Republic, 2 km NNE of field station “Teletskaya”, 51º48'06" N, 87º 18'18" E, 500 m a. s. l., glade in a mixed forest, on mosses, 01.08.2020 (V. Golub), 2 males, 5 females, 1 larva. Distribution. Transpalearctic species. In Western Siberia the species was previously recorded from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra and the Kemerovo Province. First record from the Altai Republic and Altai as a whole. The nearest localities of the species in Eastern Siberia are the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Tuva and the Irkutsk Province. Ecology. A. carinata, like all species of the genus Acalypta Westwood 1840, lives on mosses, on which it was collected in the vicinity of Lake Teletskoye.
