Klimaszewski et al. 2012, 2016d, 2018, 2021. Brunke et al. 2021. Work et al. 2013. Distribution. Nearctic, transcontinental in Canada, recorded from A/S (Klimaszewski et al. 2021). Canada: AB, BC, LB, MB, NB, NF, ON, QC, SK, YT. USA: AK, ME (NSR), NH (NSR). Collection and Habitat data. The NH specimens were captured from June to October in a mixed forest, rotten wood, and in leaf litter by a stream. Taken primarily by flight intercept traps, with one each taken by a pitfall and a Malaise trap. In AK adults were found in a variety of coniferous and deciduous forests, transitioning into shrubby/Krummholz habitats in alpine tundra; also, in decaying mushrooms in Betula forest (Klimaszewski et al. 2021).
