Summary:This brief focuses on the governance and justice implications of the energy sector in (Sub-)Arctic in the context of ongoing energy transition. It presents insights into: (1) energy demand and energy services; (2) renewable energy and energy storage; and (3) oil and gas extraction. The brief looks at the current governance mechanisms and identifies fragmentation problems.
