Description
Summary:This data set contains Cloud Concentration Nuclei (CCN) data from the two miniaturized CCN counters (mCCNc) that were operated by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography on-board the NSF/NCAR GV HIAPER aircraft during SOCRATES. They provide measurements of the horizontal and vertical spatial variability of CCN number concentrations, CCN spectra, and aerosol hydroscopicity. One mCCNc was at a fixed supersaturation for high spatial resolution and the second was operated at a range of supersaturation values to retrieve the CCN spectra. These data are in ICARTT format.
