Most relate to human inhabitation of the area, but some may still be useful for historical vegetation studies. Volume II: Notes and prints of photos of Whaler â s Cove history from World War II to the 1970 â s, including notes on erosion, construction, land use, and kelp. Other photo prints of elsewhere in the reserve, unlabeled and all in black and white except one. Volume III: Black and white photos (prints) of vegetation and coastline from the State Park era. Lack captions and most lack dates. Include archaeological photos and photos of marine mammals and seabirds on Bird Island.
