Summary:Abundance of vascular plants measured using point intercept frequency.\r\n\r\nThe datasets contains point frequency data (which can be converted to biomass estimates) of the following functional groups and species:\r\n\r\n* Betula nana \r\n* Broad leaved grasses\r\n* Calamagrostis phragmitoides \r\n* Deciduous dwarf shrubs\r\n* Deciduous vascular cryptogams\r\n* Deschampsia cespitosa\r\n* Empetrum nigrum\r\n* Equisetum sp\r\n* Evergreen dwarf shrubs\r\n* Evergreen non woody\r\n* Green willows\r\n* Grey willows\r\n* Hemiparasites \r\n* Nardus stricta\r\n* Narrow leaved grasses\r\n* Prostrate willows\r\n* Rumex acetosa\r\n* Salix herbacea\r\n* Sedges and rushes\r\n* Small forbs\r\n* Tall forbs\r\n* Vaccinium myrtillus\r\n\r\n\r\nThe dataset includes three different types of files and all files (except the readme) are saved as ;-separated txt-files:\r\n \r\n* One data file per year (_YEAR.txt) \r\n* One coordinate file with coordinates of all sites included in the dataset (_coordinates.txt) \r\n* One auxiliary file with information about which sites are included in the dataset and when (_aux.txt) \r\n* One readme file with additional information about the variables included in the study design (_readme.pdf)\r\n\r\nThe dataset has a two-year embargo, older versions of the dataset are publicly available for download.\r\n
