Description
Summary:36th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition; 1637-1639 : In this work we present data for the outdoor performance monitoring for monofacial and bifacial c-Si heterojunction (HJT) module types in comparison to commercial mono- and bifacial c-Si PERC modules in moderate climate conditions in Russia. For bifacial modules +4% gain is observed for the HJT 72-cell module as compared to the bifacial c-Si PERC module in summer. The HJT gain correlates with daily irradiance and ambient temperature being the highest for hot and sunny days. Further, bifacial gain of the HJT module over monofacial HJT amounts to 10-15% for the summer period. In addition, we determine the initial degradation rate for monofacial HJT modules.
