Description
Summary:In this work, the selenium content in the surface waters of the White and Barents Seas was determined by the method of fluorimetric determination of selenium content with 2,3-diaminonaphthalene. For the first time, a scale was de- veloped for standardizing the content of selenium in marine ocean waters. A com- parison and generalization of the distribution of levels of selenium in the White and Barents Seas was made, and the prevalence of the average level of selenium was revealed. In the Barents Sea, there is a diversity in the frequency distribution of selenium levels in water samples.
