Summary:This dataset includes chemical and physical time series data collected from the full water column at Ocean Weather Station M (OWSM) at 66° N, 2° E in the Norwegian Sea between 2001-10-31 and 2021-07-30. The data include Dissolved Inorganic Carbon (TCARBN), Total Alkalinity (ALKALI), water temperature (CTDTMP), and salinity (CTDSAL). Between 2001 and 2007, the dataset also includes Dissolved Oxygen (OXYGEN), nitrate (NITRATE), phosphate (PHSPHT), and silicate (SILICAT). Samples for TCARBN, ALKALI, OXYGEN, and nutrients were collected using Niskin bottles. Water temperature and salinity were monitored using a SeaBird MicroCAT CTD, which regularly was calibrated towards bottle salinity. The ALKALI samples were analysed using a VINDTA 3S instrument with accuracy ±2 µmol kg-1. The TCARBN samples were analysed using a SOMMA instrument between 2001 and 2003 and a VINDTA 3D from 2003 and onwards, both with coulometric titration and an accuracy of ±2 µmol kg-1.
