Summary: | This swath bathymetry data set was collected with a Reson SeaBat 7125 multibeam sonar system on MBARI Mapping AUV mission 20131003m1 in 2013. The data files are in MB-System-compatible format (mbio format 88) and contain processed swath bathymetry and acoustic backscatter data. The AUV survey mission was conducted during the 2013 CCGS Sir Wilfrid Laurier IOS cruise 2013-22 in the Beaufort Sea (Cruise Chief Scientist - Humfrey Melling, Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada; project PI - Charlie Paull and investigators: Dr. David Caress and Eve Lundsten, MBARI). Data were acquired as part of a collaborative research project between MBARI, the Geological Survey of Canada, and Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
