Based on this view, Grand Council Treaty #3's (GCT3) long-term vision for the program is to protect and preserve the traditional waters of the Anishinaabe people from all 28 Treaty #3 First Nations by empowering and educating them through long-term stewardship and capacity-building opportunities. The goals of the CBM program are to protect and preserve traditional waters; build the environmental knowledge and capacity of Treaty #3 members; and prioritize youth engagement in the program. ... : A YSI Professional Plus handheld multiparameter meter with a conductivity/temperature sensor, dissolved oxygen sensor, and pH sensor was used to gather water quality data.
