The features of theconstruction and operation of Arctic pipelines, as well as the problems that arose during the construction are considered. In general, based on the analysis of the history of the development of pipeline transport in the Arctic, it can be concluded that the oil and gas transport system is in a state of development and is promising, since the main production will be concentrated in the Arctic zone in accordance with the development strategy of Russia.
