These data are measured in High Arctic over an observatory basin, located at 79°N on the W coast of Svalbard. Austre Lovén is a small 4.5 km² polythermal glacier in constant decline since the end of the LIA. The surrounding catchment is no more than 10 km² and exhibits a significant periglacial area with geomorphological features allowing an all-year monitoring. On the glacier, a network of 40 stakes is deployed and measured at the end of the hydrological year i.e. early October. This routine maintenance is carried out twice a year and stakes are regularly changed depending on the glacier topographical evolution. Austre Lovén est un petit glacier polythermal de 4,5 km² en déclin constant depuis la fin du LIA. Le bassin versant environnant ne dépasse pas 10 km² et présente une zone périglaciaire importante avec des caractéristiques géomorphologiques permettant une surveillance tout au long de l'année. Sur le glacier, un réseau de 40 capteurs est déployé et mesuré à la fin de l'année hydrologique, c'est-à-dire au début du mois d'octobre. Cet entretien de routine est effectué deux fois par an et les piquets sont régulièrement changés en fonction de l'évolution topographique du glacier.
