Assignment: Danish deep sea expedition Frigate 'Galathea' at Naval Base, Long Beach. 031-032-34-35: 6-months-old antarctic sea elephant 'Sir Anton; gives friendly yowp when his head is scratched by expedition's chief information officer Hakon Mielche, Calf was named in honor of expedition's leader, (Dr. Anton F. Brunn). Sir Anton will be flown to Copenhagen Zoo, where, if he reaches full size of his kind he may someday weigh many tons. 54 & 55: Long shots of Frigate Galathea. 19 & 88: Dr. Henning Lemche, of Copenhagen Zoological Museum, with 'angler fish' species of melanocetus, from 8000 feet down.
