Summary: | The uploaded data sets are in the format of csv files. The data include concentrations of total Mercury (Hg) in seawater, MeHg concentrations in seawater and in the filtered particles, THg and MeHg concentrations in zooplankton and fish. Each sample is linked to a geographic location described by latitude and longitude. We are also providing additional data on the oceanographic parameters such as fluorescence, oxygen (concentration and %saturation), salinity, temperature and density per depth for each station and for each of the two cruises - see below. The oceanographic data was collected during CTD casts equipped with a suite of sensors that were calibrated prior to sampling. All the data except for fish were collected during two oceanographic cruises. Sampling occurred between June 29th and July 3rd (the June/July cruise as referred to in the final report) and from September 2nd to 7th of 2018 aboard R/V Sikuliag and R/V Oceanus, respectively. Fish samples were collected aboard fishing vessels that were chartered by NOAA (sampling from September 20th to October 5th, 2018). Data labels are explained in the file called "DataDictionary-ZBaumann.csv". |
