Рассмотрена цифровая трансформация как переход общества к цифровым технологиям и влияние этих изменений на все сферы жизни, поскольку цифровые технологии пронизывают нашу повседневную жизнь и взаимодействие в XXI в. Составлен рейтинг субъектов Российской Федерации по уровню цифровизации домохозяйств за период 2015–2018 гг. посредством создания интегрального индекса; осуществлено сравнение цифрового активизма населения субъектов Российской Федерации с качеством жизни в этих регионах. Для распределения регионов по уровню цифровизации домохозяйств рассчитаны индексы цифровой мобильности, цифрового равенства, цифровой экономики, цифрового взаимодействия и в итоге интегральный индекс цифровизации. Лидер рейтинга — Ямало-Ненецкий автономный округ, аутсайдер — Республика Дагестан. В числе десяти регионов-лидеров не оказалось представителей Сибирского, Дальневосточного и Северо-Кавказского федеральных округов. В числе десяти аутсайдеров отсутствуют представители Приволжского федерального округа. : Digital transformation is considered as the transition of society to digital technologies and the impact of these changes on all spheres of life, since digital technologies permeate our daily life and interaction in the 21st century. The rating of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation by the level of digitalization of households for the period 2015–2018 has been compiled. by creating an integral index; the comparison of digital activism of the population of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation with the quality of life in these regions is carried out. To distribute regions according to the level of digitalization of households, the indices of digital mobility, digital equality, digital economy, digital interaction were calculated and, as a result, the integral index of digitalization. The leader of the rating is the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the outsider is the Republic of Dagestan. Among the ten leading regions, there were no representatives of the Siberian, Far Eastern and North Caucasian federal districts. Among the ten outsiders, there are no representatives of the Volga Federal District.
