В статье рассматривается целый ряд вопросов, связанных с проблемой международного освоения Арктики и Антарктики: от правового обеспечения соответствующей деятельности до перспектив возможного сотрудничества и рисков столкновения интересов стран основных «игроков» на полярных территориях, к числу которых намерен присоединиться и Китай. : This article discusses a number of issues related to the problem of the international development of Arctic and Antarctic — from the appropriate legal support to the relevant activities up to the prospects of probable co-operation and the risks of the interests" clash of the main “players” in the polar areas, which may include China striving to join them.
