Summary:We report records of Coot Fulica atra and Kingfisher Alcedo atthis and their nests in the territory of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). In the early 1990s, Coot decreased in numbers in the study area and virtually disappeared from Yakutia in 1992. In 2017, this species was again recorded in Yakutsk. In total, 4 Coot nests were found in the south of Yakutia. In 2019, a Kingfisher nest was found near Ust-Maya which is located outside the main species range.
