| Summary: | Broad-billed Sandpiper Limicola falcinellus nests in the northern part of Eurasia and flies during migrations through the regions bordering Bashkortostan: the Perm, Orenburg, Sverdlovsk regions, the Republics of Tatarstan and Udmurtia. However, there have been no records of Broad-billed Sandpiper in the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan. We found this species (3 individuals) on a small lake near Alekseevka village (the Ufa district) on 23 July 2019. It was a mixed flock of sandpipers: Broad-billed Sandpipers, Little Stints Calidris minuta , Temminck’s Stints Calidris temminckii . Visiting the same place 3 days later (on 26 July 2019), we did not find Limicola falcinellus . |
