Summary:A systematic list is given of the Bryozoa species collected near the Faroe and Jan Mayen islands during the his- torical northern oceanographic cruises of the "Pourquoi-Pas ?" during the years 1921-1929 (15 Cheilostomes, 3 Cyclostomes). Seven species are reported here for the first time from the Faroe Islands. General data are provided on the Bryozoa from the "Pourquoi-Pas " cruises in European and Antarctic Seas. A new species, Smittoidea pourquoipasi sp. nov., is described from Jan Mayen.
