Description
Summary:As a part of the Nansen Legacy project, physical oceanography data were collected during the process cruise, KB2022625 on R/V Kristine Bonnevie in October 2022. The goal was to conduct ocean mixing and water transformation process studies in the Barents Sea Polar Front region east of Svalbard, in the northern Barents Sea. This data set is a compilation of data from the shipboard conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) system, the lowered-ADCP (acoustic Doppler current profiler) LADCP system and the ship’s hull-mounted ADCP (SADCP), provided as three separate NetCDF files: KB2022625_CTD.nc: 62 profiles of salinity, temperature and density using ship’s CTD system. Profiles from the ancillary sensors on the CTD system are also included, but not calibrated using in-situ water samples. The ancillary profiles are of dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll-A signal from the fluorescence sensor, downwelling photosynthetic available radiation, and beam attenuation from transmissometer. KB2022625_LADCP.nc : 62 profiles of ...
