Summary:Salmon post-smolt, herring and mackerel stomach content data from visual identification of prey organisms. The data are sampled in 2008 and 2009 as part of the Salsea-Merge project, west of Ireland and further north into the Norwegian Sea. The dataset includes species, geographic position, date, length, weight, and the total stomach content weight for each sampled individual. For each individual is the consumed prey identified and the total number of consumed preys counted. In addition is the total weight of each prey-group given for the Norwegian and Irish samples.
