Summary: | As part of the Overturning in the Nordic Seas project, one mooring was deployed in Eggvin Offset in the northwestern Iceland Sea at 70.63 N, 15.61 E at 1215 m water depth. The observations cover a 21-month period from 27 August 2016 to 7 June 2018. The time series are provided instrument-wise on their native time step: 30 seconds, 15 minutes, or 30 minutes for temperature; 15 minutes or 30 minutes for salinity; 15 minutes or 30 minutes for pressure; 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours for velocity; 30 minutes for dissolved oxygen; with the corresponding depth vectors. See the variable names for details. The dimensions follow the number of sensors on the mooring with the same sample interval. The 30 seconds temperature time series was not de-spiked. The absolute values of the dissolved oxygen record have to be interpreted with caution due to minimal calibration procedures (see comment). Details on the instrumentation and data processing are provided in the manuscript (see references). A brief overview is given in ... |
