Summary: | As a part of the Nansen Legacy Winter Process Cruise, physical oceanography data were collected during the cruise, KH2021702 on R/V Kronprins Haakon in February 2021. The goal was to conduct ocean mixing and water transformation process studies in the Barents Sea Polar Front region east of Svalbard, in the northern Barents Sea. This data set is a compilation of data from the shipboard conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) system, the lowered-ADCP (acoustic Doppler current profiler) LADCP system and the ship’s hull-mounted ADCP (SADCP), provided as three separate NetCDF files: KH2021702_CTD.nc: 89 profiles of salinity, temperature and density using the ship’s CTD system. Profiles from the ancillary sensors on the CTD system are also included, but not calibrated using in-situ water samples. The ancillary profiles are of dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll-A signal from the fluorescence sensor, coloured dissolved organic matter signal from the fluorescence sensor, downwelling photosynthetic available radiation, and ... |
