Summary: | This data package includes surface water level observations from a pressure transducer sitting above sea level on the Ikpikpuk River delta in northern Alaska from 2009 to 2021. The Ikpikpuk River delta is located on the Arctic Coastal Plain of northern Alaska. The Ikpikpuk River drains a land area of 15,330 square kilometers (km-2), emptying into Smith Bay, and the delta is fan-shaped with an aerial extent of 106 square kilometers. The instrumentation was deployed to collect measurements on the spring freshet flood on the delta as well as storm surge floods.
