Description
Summary:This dataset has data from boreholes that were part of the Alaska Pipeline Project (APP), TransCanada and ExxonMobil, that drilled over 120 boreholes in a transect from the Alaska / Canada border near Tok, AK to Prudhoe Bay, AK between 2009 and 2012. Rather than capping the boreholes they were donated to GIPL and we have been instrumenting a subset of them from July 1, 2014 - June 30, 2015. The boreholes are about 9 meters (30 feet) deep and span a wide range of vegetation types and permafrost conditions.
