Description
Summary:This dataset contains terpenoid (isoprene, monoterpenes, and sesquiterpenes) ambient air mixing ratios and emission rates from key dominant vegetation species at Toolik Field Station (68◦38′ N, 149◦36′ W) in northern Alaska during two back-to-back field campaigns (summers of 2018 and 2019) covering the entire growing season. Ambient air measurements were performed using an automated gas chromatography and mass spectrometry with flame ionization detector (GC-MS/FID) system, and biogenic volatile organic compound (BVOC) emission rates were measured using dynamic enclosure systems. This dataset also contains isoprene mixing ratio vertical profiles obtained with a tethered balloon.
