Description
Summary:«General Attitudes Towards Punishment, 2009» is part of the larger project «Attitudes Towards Punishment in Nordic Countries», which was carried out in Denmark, Iceland, Finland and Sweden in 2009. The study had two purposes: investigate general attitudes to punishment in the adult population, as well as form the basis for a selection of focus group members who have about the same attitudinal perceptions as the adult population. The survey was conducted as a computer-assisted telephone interview (CATI) by Norstat (following instructions from Opinion AS). To investigate the attitudes of the population towards punishment, six questions were asked in connection with this study, plus some background information on those interviewed.
