Summary:The article presents a comparative analysis of the Evenk tale "the Bird and the Fox" ("Caucacian, sulake") with folk lyrics of different ethnic traditions, in particular, of the peoples of Siberia and the Far East. The tale connected with three simple, forming a multi-piece story. In this case three episodes of the story have Parallels in the fairy tale folklore of the evens, Udege, Orochi, Nanai, Negidal, Yukagirs, Dolgans and Russians.
