Description
Summary:"M5 is located in a wet fen area called 'Rylekæret', just 20 meters North of the Automatic Chamber site. The station was installed in 2009. In this file soil temperatures in 2, 20, 30, 40 and 50 cm is recorded every 10th minute, using Campbell scientific T107 thermocouples. Soil temperature is also measured in 2, 8, 12 and 16 cm depth, using East 30 Sensors, thermal conductivity sensors. Measurements from 00:10, 00:20, 00:30, 00:40 and 12:10, 12:20, 12:30, 12:40 are removed as these are affected by the heat pulse the sensors are emitting at 00:00 and 12:00, in order to measure the thermal conductivity, which is given in the M5_720min file." Meteorology:Meteorology GeoBasis Zackenberg:The GeoBasis monitoring programme focuses on selected abiotic characteristics in order to describe the state of Greenlandic terrestrial environments and their potential feedback effects in a changing climate. Monitored plot data is up-scaled to a landscape level and is used to improve ecosystem models to be able to quantify ...
