Summary: | The automatic weather station AWS3 was installed in July 2013. It is located in the southern part of Blæsedalen (90 meter above sea level) in an open gently rolling area. It is a relatively dry location. A thin layer of soil with low heath vegetation/dwarf shrubs covers the bedrock. The station is running West Greenland Standard Time (UTC-3). The AWS3-Meteorology file holds the following parameters (Air temperature, Relative humidity, Wind (speed and direction) Liquid precipitation and PAR). The rain gauge was installed in August 2014. Find more data from AWS3 under Soil (AWS3-SoilMoisture, AWS3-SoilTemperature). Soil temperatures are only available after July 2018. All data are logged by 30-minute intervals.
