Description
Summary:Soil temperature is measured in +0.03, 0.00, 0.00, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.00, 1.25, 1.50 and 1.75 meters below the surface in a hummocky fen area, North of the Automatic chamber site. The site is called 'Wet_fen'. Temperature is recorded every hour. Measurements were initiated in september 2012. Blank cells are missing data. Temperature is measured with Geo-Precision thermistor string. Data from 2015-08-31 11:00 and onwards exists, but due to inconsistent measurements levels, the data is not published in the database. Data can be supplied upon request. Please contact the GeoBasis manager to get the data (http://zackenberg.dk/monitoring/geobasis/). Soil properties:Soil properties GeoBasis Zackenberg:The GeoBasis monitoring programme focuses on selected abiotic characteristics in order to describe the state of Greenlandic terrestrial environments and their potential feedback effects in a changing climate. Monitored plot data is up-scaled to a landscape level and is used to improve ecosystem models to be able to ...
