Summary: | No abstracts are to be cited without prior reference to the author. The Atlantic Iberian pelagic ecosystem has been monitored regularly for the past thirty years duringlarge scale acoustics and egg production campaigns (PNAB/DCF). The information gathered allow theestimation of biomass and population structure for the key pelagic fishes, oceanographiccharacterization of the neritic environment and comprehension of the zooplankton communitydistribution. Data from a series of surveys is used to link the different strata in the system and studythe relationship between the zooplankton distribution (size and biomass composition by taxa obtainedvia image analyses procedures) and the spatial patterns for larvae, juveniles and adults, of smallpelagic planktivorous fish. ... |
