Description
Summary:No abstracts are to be cited without prior reference to the author. In spite of the fact that strong advections of the North Sea water with high salinity to Baltic sea were absent for a long period, no pronounced deepening and washing out of the halocline, increase of the vertical mixing and improvement of the gas regime were observed as for example occurred in the Gdansk Deep during the late 1980 s. On the contrary, considerable vertical salinity (density) gradients retain, while significant oxygen deficiency is main feature of the water regime not only in the near-bottom layers, but also in intermediate ones. The dynamics of abiotic environment conditions is shown using reproductive volume (RV) for cod in the Gdansk area. ...
