Summary:No abstracts are to be cited without prior reference to the author.Alaska pollock eggs were incubated experimentally under various temperatures using this incubator in the Sea of Okhotsk during three years (18 in 2000, 5 in 2001 and 13 in 2002). Samples of live eggs were selected, photographed digitally and fixed for in-camera processing in the process of all incubations, with a repeated frequency of 6–12 hours, or more often in some cases. An atlas of embryogenesis, and a computer image identification programme were developed on the basis of 10000 pictures of eggs which reflected their morphological variations in the process of development under different temperatures. ...
