Hooded seals are large deep-diving seals inhabiting both the Western and Eastern North Atlantic (Northwest Atlantic stock and Greenland Sea stock, respectively). They have a varied diet mainly comprised by bathypelagic fish but also including some squid and crustaceans (mainly in juveniles).
