Summary: | Introduction: with the aging process, changes appear in the person's body. In addition, the process itself can trigger prejudice by the population, including nursing students. Objective: to map the scientific knowledge about the attitudes and perceptions of nursing students about ageism. Method: Scoping review with the JBI methodology. The Medline (Pubmed), Cinahl, Embase, Scopus and Web of Science databases will be used for published study research and the gray literature in the Brazilian Digital Library of theses and dissertations of CAPES, Google academic, Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD), EBSCO Open Dissertations, DART-e, and ACS Guide to Scholarly Communication. Primary studies that work on perceptions and attitudes related to ageism in undergraduate students, technicians and nursing assistants over the age of 18 in the continents of America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania and Antarctica will be included.
