Summary:Companies have made various efforts to help their employees to achieve WLB. One of the strategies implemented by the company is the family-friendly policy (FFP), a series of programs developed formally in an organization to help the realization of WLB employees (Lee & Hong, 2011). In 2019, a study from UNICEF produced a list of family-friendly countries based on the length of paid leave accessible to parents, both fathers, and mothers, as well as early childhood to preschool care and education accessible for parents during their employment (Chzhen et al., 2019). The top five countries that are considered the most family-friendly are Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Portugal, and Denmark. The implementation of family-friendly policies in those countries can be used as guidance for other countries that also want to implement family-friendly policies successfully.
