Summary:Antarctica's lake sediments are valuable geological archives for paleoenvironmental reconstructions as sea-level and ice-sheet change. It is important to proceed with an analysis of cores from several locations in one lake to reconstruct detailed environmental changes. In the geomorphological survey of the 61st Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition, we collected four sediment cores in Lake Nurume, located at Langhovde in Lutzow-Holm Bay, East Antarctica.
