Summary:Multibeam data (Atlas Hydrosweep DS) were collected during RV Polarstern cruise ANT-XII/1. Data are unprocessed and may contain outliers and blunders. Therefore the data should not directly be used for grid calculations and charting projects but need to be edited furthermore. The data files are in the AWI Hyd-format (hdl:10013/epic.37976) including not averaged depths and lateral distances.Ancillary sound velocity profiles (SVP) for data calibration are part of this dataset publication. : These data should not be used for navigational purposes.Data were provided to PANGAEA by Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research personnel (contact: infobathy@awi.de).
